Governor Abbott: The Lone Star State Has The Constitutional Authority to Defend Itself From An Invasion!

Governor Abbott is defying the Supreme Court order and will continue to build wire fences to defend the Lone Star State of Texas. Governor Abbott declared an invasion at the border and used his State’s constitutional authority to defend itself. The border battle between Governor Abbott

and the Biden's administration has tested the State's legal authority to defend itself due to the federal government staying in its way.  

More governors from different States have expressed support for Texas, especially Governor Noem of South Dakota, who will visit the southern border to support Governor Abbott. She also said that she would deliver wire fences and send her State National Guard to help support Texas defend itself if needed.

Many legal experts think that Governor Abbott has the legal authority and is within his constitutional rights to keep building the razor-wire fence even if the federal government continues to cut it before an appeals court addresses the matter. While declaring his constitutional authority, Governor Abbott said that the Biden Administration, the executive branch, had failed to enforce federal immigration laws, and therefore, Texas has the right to defend itself from the invasion.

Governor Abbott's action has gained support among the Republican Governors and the former President Trump. 

The showdown between Texas and the federal government will continue while pending the appeal court to make a decision. That would mean that Governor Abbott will continue to build the razor wire fences to defend itself from the invasion, and the federal government can just continue to cut the fences until the matter is resolved in appeal court.
