New Hampshire Primary and What Is Next For Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley After Their Lost In Iowa Caucus to Donald Trump?
What is next for Gov. Ron DeSantis and Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. Will they throw their support behind former President Trump now? We will find out that answer in the coming days as their campaign will need to assess whether they have a path forward to the GOP nomination.
Noted that ahead of Iowa Caucus, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis picked up 50 new endorsements from faith leaders in Iowa, however, with a trove of new endorsement did not help moving his points up in Iowa caucus at all, therefore, his campaign will need to do a thorough assessment about the path forward. It was a surprised lost for Gov. DeSantis given he received significant number of endorsements before the caucus. According to one of the faith leaders, Pastor RJ Montis, said "Gov. DeSantis is the one candidate that I believe truly wants to put America first". The faith leaders were hopeful that Gov. DeSantis can win or at least second place closer to Trump, but it was a disappointed lost because they were all vowed to commit to Caucus for the governor, but the caucus results did not turn out as expected.
Gov. DeSantis has poured all his time, and energy into Iowa Caucus, showcase his vision for America and making a strong grassroots push in Iowa to compete against former President Donald Trump and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. However, They were unable to beat or pull closer to Trump because Trump's grassroot remains strong and his popularity is extraordinary given Trump has to deal with many legal issues.
Many Conservatives across the country have called on all GOP Candidates to unite behind former President Trump and unite the Republican Party. With the latest endorsements from prominent figures like Governor Doug Burgum and Senator Marco Rubio, the Republican Voters see that Trump's electability is stronger than ever. It would be good for the Republican Party to stand with the former President now since Trump had won Iowa Caucus with significant wide margin points lead over two GOP rivals, second place Gov. DeSantis and third place former Ambassador Haley.
