Report: Governor DeSantis to Drop Out of Presidential Race and Plan to Endorse Former President Donald Trump. It's Time to UNIFY!
Governor DeSantis is planning to drop out of Presidential race and will endorse former President Donald Trump. It's time for the Republican Party to UNIFY. Former Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley is the only remaining GOP candidate to challenge Trump for the GOP nomination. It is very
slim chance for Haley to win over Trump given majority of GOPs have endorsed Trump for President and Haley's path toward to the GOP nomination is very small.New Hamshire Primary will be the final battle ground for former governor Haley to make the case to voters that she is electable, but the current poll number does not look so optimistic for Haley and Trump's momentum is getting stronger everyday and he also picks up more endorsements from across political spectrum. However, former governor Haley didn't give up on her presidential ambition just yet, and she encouraged governor DeSantis' voters to back her and she is looking forward beyond New Hampshire to a must win in her home State of South Carolina. This will be a difficult fight for her given majority of the South Carolina GOPs have supported and endorsed former President Trump.
Nikki Haley is the former South Carolina governor who quits her job as governor to serve in the Trump's Administration as U.N. ambassador. After learning DeSantis dropped out and endorsed her former boss Donald Trump, Haley quickly take the opportunity to call on DeSantis' voters to support her during an interview with Fox News Digital. She said that it is time for a new generation, but does that resonate with DeSantis' voters and does her policies when she served as governor of South Carolina helped her. One of her policies might not work well with voters, such as, she wants to raise the retirement age or increase taxes. Everybody wants to be eligible to retire at 65 to enjoy their retirements after many years of hard working so that might not be what they wanted. Increase tax is another issue that nobody wants their leader to impose more taxes on them. New Hampshire primary is up in two days on Tuesday January 23rd, aand the Granite State voters will decide whether they want her or the former President to represent them in the November election. We will find out that answer very soon!
Trump maintains a strong lead in the poll and the frontrunner in the GOP nomination race for the White House. Iowa caucus had delivered a huge victory for the former President Trump where he grabbed 51% of ballots cast, DeSantis came in second place with 21% and Nikki Haley came in third with 19%. Governor DeSantis edged Nikki Haley out for a distant second place, but still dropping out of the race and endorsed Donald Trump because he saw there was no path for him to win the GOP nomination. While Haley is still trying to hold on to the presidential race, however, her performance in New Hampshire primary will play a major factor in her decision to continue on her presidential campaign for the GOP nomination.
Trump said on his Truth Social that it is time to UNIFY, and the Republican Party should be united behind him and direct all the resources and energies to support him to win back the White House in 2024. It is not good for the Party to against each other, especially, Trump is anticipated to be the Republican Party nominee to face off with Democrat nominee in the General Election. Therefore, it will be a waste of money, time, and energy to fight each other, and Republican Party should be united as one team to get the American people out of the inflation and rebuilding our country.
